Hey there, and welcome to JC Bakesmith’s! We are Jenny and Cassie, a mother-in-law/daughter-in-law duo, who share a love of not only baking but sharing it with others. If you notice in our logo, you can see the Bible verse “1 Corinthians 10:31” which is “So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” Which describes our business, and baking, model perfectly. While crazy intricate cookies and cake are all the rave today, JC Bakesmith’s focuses on down-to-earth, classic, and delicious recipes that have withstood the test of time. The sweets and treats we offer are a combination of family recipes from both sides, plus some we have developed together! We like to say, “if your mom made it for you as a kid, then it’s probably something we offer!” So if you’re craving something sweet and nostalgic, you’re in the right place!
Hey, I’m Jenny. I grew up in the kitchen with my Aunt Donna. She taught me the basics of baking and cornerstone recipes I still use today. I have two amazing sons, one of whom is married to my baking partner Cassie. My husband Greg, and I have a rescue cat named Elcie (which came from us calling her “LC” which stands for little cat!”). We love to shop for records, vintage Christmas decor, and all sorts of antiques.
Hey y’all, I’m Cassie. My Mom andgrandmother taught me our family recipes growing up, and now I am able to share them with you! Unfortunately, my Mom recently passed away, so using her recipes is one of my favorite ways to remember her! I am married to Jenny’s son, Mark, and we have two of the sweetest dogs in the world, Kona and Jax. When I’m not baking, I can be found at an antique store shopping for vintage cookware, working in my garden, or snuggling up with my pups!
